Arlette’s Trading Background
So I started trading back in March 2018, just as a side income really, alongside everything else I had going on. At first it was just, okay, let’s get another income stream going. But the more I learned, the more it became a proper passion. Eight plus years in now, still trading every week, still trying to get better, still adapting.
Penny stocks, small caps, that’s always been my thing. Volatile, yeah, everyone knows that. But I like the challenge, finding the high-probability setups, managing the risk properly. These stocks, you need to be prepared, patient, disciplined. Over the years I’ve built a structured approach so I’m not just chasing every single thing that moves.
Risk management, that’s the foundation, always has been. Before I’m in any trade, it’s got to meet my criteria. If it doesn’t fit the plan, I’m out, I’ll wait for the next one. Protecting capital matters just as much as making money. Every trade’s planned with a proper risk-to-reward, usually 1:1 to 2:1 depending on the setup.
I specialise in day trading penny stocks and small caps, technical analysis, price action, chart patterns, that’s how I find my entries and exits. I keep a trading journal too, go back over everything, learn from every single trade, keep refining. That prep, execute, review cycle, that’s been huge for my consistency long-term.
Outside of trading, family time, staying active, travelling, trying food from everywhere I can. Trading gives me the flexibility for that, and that’s honestly one of the things I value most about it.
